Exam Schedule
The CTET exam will take place on December 15, 2024. This is right now fixed but exam date may change, so always prepared with same date. Here’s the schedule for the two papers:
- CTET Paper II (TGT): Morning shift from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
- CTET Paper I (PRT): Evening shift from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
Eligibility Criteria
Before applying, candidates should meet the following eligibility requirements: otherwise your candidature wlll be cancelled.
- For Class I to V (Primary Stage):
- Completed Senior Secondary (10+2) with at least 50% marks.
- A two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.Ed) or a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- For Class VI to VIII (Upper Primary Stage):
- A Bachelor’s degree (B.A., B.Sc., etc.) with at least 50% marks.
- A two-year Diploma in Elementary Education or a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).
Application Fee
The application fees for CTET December 2024 are as follows:
- For General and OBC (NCL):
- Only Paper I or II: ₹1000
- Both Papers: ₹1200
- For SC, ST, and PWD:
- Only Paper I or II: ₹500
- Both Papers: ₹600
